“The Kroger Race for Riley presented by Cheerios” is like many other fundraisers, relying on many individuals and corporations to raise funds and awareness to assist in the growth of its benefactor, Riley Hospital for Children. Over the years, the Race for Riley has been fortunate to increase not only the monetary contributions but also a better knowledge of this outstanding institution and it’s merits for those who have not witnessed the miracles first hand. This growth has only been attainable through the hard work and loyalty of our many contributors and volunteers.
There are many ways to make a donation to the Race for Riley event benefiting Riley Hospital for Children including online donation, mail-in donation, participate in the auction, register to race against John Andretti, register to come to the Progressive Dinner, or just come to the event. Donations at the event include purchasing an event hat or T-shirt, participate in the raffle and many other ways to have fun and help a great cause.
Any charitable event also relies on its many volunteers to create an inviting and entertaining atmosphere for all to enjoy. The Race for Riley volunteers come from various backgrounds but many of the volunteers are those who have been directly touched by the wonders of Riley Hospital for Children affectionately known as Riley kids. These are the parents, grandparents, siblings, and those who work directly for Riley Hospital for Children. The Race for Riley also has volunteers from the John Andretti Fan Club, WIBC, Kroger and General Mills among others, who graciously give of their time and talents to make it all possible. Please consider volunteering for the 2013 event, it will create a lifetime memory for you and those you touch.
For those who are not able to contribute or volunteer, please come and join in the fun and fellowship of the event. Everyone is welcome.
